the Adirondack Watershed Alliance
The AWA was formed to assure the continued
promotion and organization of paddlesport activities. Our main task is coordinating
the Adirondack canoe and kayak race series, including the Adirondack Canoe
Classic, commonly known as "The 90-Miler." We are also stewards
of Adirondack waterways, provide recreational employment and college interships.
Plus, we offer clinics, time trials and trips. Most of all, we encourage
cooperation between all recreational users of the waterways of the Adirondack
