The Adirondack Watershed Race Circuit is part of a North Country Regional Development Council initiative to promote paddling opportunities in the Adirondacks. We are working on a Paddle Finder website to develop an on line discussion of paddling by and for paddlers. You can be part by providing descriptions of some of your favorite paddling destination and routes.
The AWA is proud to announce PADDLE FINDER
A tourism promotion to highlight the diversity of paddling opportunities in the North Country Region of upstate New York.
The AWRC will feature competition in stock class boats; boats designed for backcountry travel but light and sleek enough to be competitive against other similar craft.
The second phase of the paddle finder project will be promoting paddling destinations in the north country region with itineraries, trip reports, blog posts, and photos. Paddle finder is supported by a grant from the North Country Regional Economic Development Council.
