A tourism promotion to highlight the diversity of paddling opportunities in the North Country Region of upstate New York. Paddle Finder will promote the Adirondack Watershed Race Circuit ( AWRC ) - A six event series occurring on five of the watersheds percolating from the heart of the six million acre state park.
The AWRC will feature competition in stock class boats; boats designed for backcountry travel but light and sleek enough to be competitive against other similar craft.
The second phase of the paddle finder project will be promoting paddling destinations in the north country region with itineraries, trip reports, blog posts, and photos. Paddle finder is supported by a grant from the North Country Regional Economic Development Council.
